"And I Formed the Head..." custom Giant Robot x Uglydoll
This is my contribution to Giant Robot's Biennale 3 held at the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles on Sept 22, 2012. Artists were given a Giant Robot vinyl toy along with a Kaiju Uglydoll to customize in any fashion. Drawing upon my affinity for Japanese super robot toys, I decided to pay homage to the characters that I grew up loving so much.
Made with epoxy, polymer clay, metal, plastic, foam and found materials.
