Why I Am Glad I'm a Morning Person

Morning sunlight flows across the Teton River in Teton Valley, Idaho.

Processing of this image consisted of adjusting the D800 raw image with 4 sliders in Lightroom 5; Highlights, Shadows, Clarity, and Vibrance. By applying the highlights and shadows adjustments on the 14.4 stop raw image of the D800, in the majority of situations I have no need to bracket or use a graduated ND filter. The vibrance adjustment selectively increases saturation but will not over-saturate colors. Clarity can give an HDR look to the image. I only use it very judiciously especially for landscape images.
