For this assignment you are to seek out the pointy and creatively capture it. There should be plenty of subjects that fit this assignment. You could go with steeples, fences, knives, forks, beaks, fingers, etc. What ever the subject, please use composition and lighting to make a compelling image.

 

WIT: Found this Pin Frog (the points hold stems of flowers at the bottom of a vase) and since I've been in a macro mood lately, thought I would give it a try - especially since it has lots of points. After a few attempts without color, it was just too blah. The color was added by using semi-clear plastic jackets under, and in back of, the object.
