Sydney's Greatest Icons

So after a week in Sydney Australia, its pretty easy to figure out that the two most celebrated icons of the city were also the two most wildly different from each other! The first and most Iconic of course was the Sydney Opera House! The Opera House with its outstanding flare and originality. A structure that seems to be ever changing depending on the angle you view it at, that always keeps you grazing in its direction every chance you get. And the Harbor Bridge with its beautiful "old school" ,iron and steal, style that gives you a inner feeling of strength, of feeling centered, and grounded when ever your around it. Even better is when you see them together! Its as if they were made to be put side by side, one contrasting the other in the most beautiful way possible. I'm surprised how much I fell in love with them both on this trip. I couldn't get enough of these two great icons!

How I did it:

Canon 5D mkII, 16-35mm f2.8 II lens

16mm F9, ISO 640, at 15sec

5 Bracketed exposures (-2,-1,0,+1,+2) taken on location during sunrise. Adjusted white balance, lens correction and removed chroma abrasions to all brackets before export, (New thing I'm tring) . Exported 5 exposures to HDRlabs 32bit tiff plugin to combine into 32bit floating point tiff. Lightroom adjustments on the 32bit tiff to bring to final.
