My Work Phone has a 'Hold' and a 'Pause' Button

And neither does what you expect.

 

The ‘Hold’ button brings up a menu asking what station you’d like to transfer the call to.

 

The ‘Pause’ button does, well, nothing as far as I can tell.

 

That’ll keep us from switching to cell phones.
