Back onto the self portraits for a bit, I hope.
This one actually drew inspiration from an article I saw in the newspaper, some interview with the winner of a supermodel competition, now when you've just won a supermodel competition you can probably be lit any which way and still come out looking great, but I quite liked that she'd been lit with a single beauty dish straight on, which is nice because I'd until now been rather neglectful of butterfly lighting. My lighting didn't end up quite like butterfly and had a fair bit of angle but I still don't mind it, and I'll try butterfly lighting with someone with more voluptuous cheeks.
