Book-Wyrm, a literal dragon
The second creature I did in this book series after "Achat de livres" was this dragon. Earlier attempts made it look like the dragon was playing the accordion. My original title for the piece was "The Literal Dragon" because it is a dragon that is meant to be read as opposed to "The Literary Dragon" which would be a dragon that reads. RC Cowlishaw suggested the name "Book-Wyrm" which I eagerly adopted. I only wish I had thought of that myself!
As usual, this dragon is folded from Zanders elephanthide paper, coloured on one side with acrylic ink. It stands about 17 cm tall.
