Love is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies.

 

So, if you divide a soul by two, you will get two equally paired souls.

 

Divide a soul by three and you get four equally paired souls.

 

If you divide a soul by four, you will get eight equally paired souls.

 

Divide a soul by eight and you will get sixteen equally paired souls.

 

So far so good. :-)
