Ohiopyle Train Station

The Ohiopyle station may have been built around 1912 when the Western Maryland was completed between Connellsville and Cumberland. Interestingly, even though this line was freight-oriented from its late start and ran parallel to a B&O mainline through a very sparse area, some prominent depots remain along what is now the Great Allegheny Passage.
