Berlin Schaubühne

The Schaubühne is a moderne theater converted from an old cinema. It was designed by Erich Mendelsohn and completed in 1926. The theater's modern lines make it perhaps the first truly modern movie theater, as opposed to the movie palaces of the time, and it likely influenced the later streamline moderne style.
