Egyptian HA-300

Egypt, Helwan Aviation HA-300, c/n V3. This project led by Willy Messerschmitt began in Spain as Hispano Aviación HA-300 after the success of HA-200 Saeta an Super Saeta. After being abandoned due budgetary reasons it was transferred to Egypt under the name Helwan Aviation HA-300, two prototypes were built and flown with Bristol Siddeley Orpheus engines. This third prototype powered by an egyptian developed E300 engine never flew due engine problems and the project was finally cancelled. The other two prototipes are kept in Germany.
