Armenelos The Golden
The Land of the Star, as depicted in Rings of Power. Númenor the mighty realm of men. Never before, and never afterwards, did they grow so strong, so powerful... so proud. Armenelos the Golden, the symbol of strength and dominancy. And towering over the capital, the great statue of Eärendil, the half-elf, beckoning to all who arrive in kindness and welcome, the inspiration for the great Argonath of future ages. But the gesture grows archaic...
It was exciting to build this scene from the Rings of Power series as an entry to the Lord of the Rings contest on LEGO Ideas. Unfortunately I only had a week to build in, and the result was that I messed up trying to submit the build, since it wasn't 1:1, and so it didn't look the way I wanted for the contest, but it was the best I could do with the pressure and little time. The Númenor soundtrack from the series truly sets the mood, and if you search "Armenelos Arch" you can find the image from the scene that I chose to build as a testament to Tolkien and the epic kingdoms and worlds he wrote of.
To God be the glory! Credit to Robert4168/Garmadon also for the main portions of the ship model which he did really well! I hope you like it.
