3012 - Decades Afterwards
Ah, I'm finally done. My take on District 18 for the LEGO Speeder Bike contest, it took two whole weeks of literally nothing but building, and I was really worried near the end that I wouldn't finish, but here it is at last, and it was a lot of hard work! If you have any compassion, enjoy the angles in the base, please, haha. I think that was crazy. But, anyways, I hope you like it. I've been really wanting to do a dystopia build for a long time, but I couldn't get the inspiration, so this contest really made me happy and I was glad to enter! Great categories, and speeder bikes are quite fun! Everyone else did an awesome job and I will have a tough time in all the categories, and thanks to the folk who set up this unique contest. (Note on the contest, the third speeder bike is there in the metro station.)
And before you ask, no way. That brilliant edit is not mine, I hope you knew that! It's courtesy of the master at photography and editing, Rob Damiano, who was kind enough to do me the favour of editing my photo a little, and he did a remarkable job! A lot of thanks to him!
One little thing I'll point out is that the Nike billboard uses paper from the sticker on the box LEGO send out, so it's purist, although lol, I have third party parts elsewhere so why go out of my way? Attached using transparent LEGO stickers too ;) .
Well I'm very glad to be finally done with this, and to those who have been waiting I hope it pleases you!
