The red bridge

This is a little bit of the story of this shot:

I had the morning off and decided to get up early and go to Girona to photograph the streets of the Jewish quarter, just before sunrise, we'll see those images later! When I had already taken the pictures, I wanted I went straight to the Eiffel bridge, everyone who visits this city comes to see it.

The architect of this bridge was the same as the architect of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, his greatest project, Gustave Eiffel. I have photographed this bridge many times and I will continue to do so, although it is always the same, it never looks the same ...

when I was coming to the bridge I climbed the steps and looked, I saw in the distance, two short nuns with their particular dress, and although they were quite old the truth is that I was quite shocked, because that was the last thing I expected to find in that place and at that time ... I went down the steps again in the opposite direction and let them pass... they didn't even look at me, I was looking at the river and thinking, where the fuck are these two going, at eight in the morning... a surreal moment for me, no doubt!

Recovered from the moment, I shot several shots with the empty bridge, as many as 7 or 8 photos... after a few minutes I realized that there was a young guy with a red sweater and the hood up right behind me, he was about to cross the bridge, I thought... wow, it's perfect, you are going to be my "prey", I stepped aside to let him pass, he saw my camera (it's not modest at all), he looked at me thinking... you are going to photograph me walking on the bridge, right?

He wasn't wrong at all...but I had to wait a little bit, because my camera makes a lot of noise when shooting and at that hour, everything was quiet...I let him walk a little bit and I shot just a couple of times, this is one of them...thanks to the guy, because the shot was great!
