The Heart of Old Town
The shooting of Game of Thrones in Girona ended on September 16, 2015. From that date until today, the city has become a destination of true worship for fans of the HBO series. The capital of Girona was chosen among many other candidates on an international scale for the great conservation of its historical heritage, becoming one of the privileged to host the shooting of the most expensive series in the history of television.
Known as the city of the 4 rivers, with its medieval architecture was chosen to shoot several scenes of this series that has so many fans.
And it is that the streets of the old town and the Jewish quarter have the essence to give life to places like Braavos, King's Landing and Ancient; so much so that Girona was the quintessential protagonist of the sixth season, appearing in 8 of the 10 episodes of the season.
I am so proud and happy for the city that it saw me born ...
