Taken for "7 Days of Shooting" Week#7 "What's Your Angle" "Technique Thursday"

This compas set into the stones on the top tower of the ruined but partly restored Chateau d'Urfé caught my eye. I simply lay on the floor to take this shot then converted to mono with a preset in Lightroom and twiddled with colour sliders until I liked the effect.
