Following the sale of Schlitz to Stroh's in 1982, parts of its massive brewing complex along the Milwaukee River were refurbished into what is now known as the Schlitz Park office complex. Unfortunately, many ornate buildings were lost in the redevelopment, and the massive former brewhouse is currently being demolished from within.
