1989-91 Chrysler TC by Maserati
The TC story began with the friendship of Lee Iacocca and Alejandro de Tomaso, during their years at Ford. In 1984, with the two at the helms of Chrysler and Maserati, respectively: the two companies began development of a grand touring coupe
The TC was introduced in 1986, but delays pushed the start of production to the 1989 model year. A glorified K-car whose platform was renamed the "Q-body" - it was essentially an overpriced LeBaron GTC with a nice interior and a removable hardtop roof. Production only survived through 1990, with a 1991 model year consisting entirely of cars built the year before.
I spotted this one while stuck in Milwaukee traffic the other day, and probably don't expect to see another anytime soon.
