The Last Chance Saloon (& Grill) operated in downtown Grayslake for nearly 20 years before it closed last November; bought by neighboring Emil's Tavern, and joining a disturbingly long list of longtime Grayslake establishments that closed in 2012.

 

Its future still remains uncertain; rumors are if the Last Chance format doesn't stay, it may be converted into an Italian steak place, but as of now Emil's is still just sitting on it... makes me wonder if that was their intention all-along.
