Plan A
If you're seeing this, I trust you won't wreck the place... maybe.
At the front of the building we found another stairwell to the second floor which bypasses the various structural anomalies hidden beneath the carpet. At the top we came to a locked, yet pathetically-weak door that only required hacking at the veneer around the lock for 5 minutes with a cheap "Macys-gifts-for-people-you-hate" multitool that included a convenient sawblade.
The second floor of the Harmacy was home to many things... the first of which we are fairly certain was a temporary home for the Gary Housing Authority, and/or Department of Planning. Presently, the GHA's main office is headquartered in the Genesis Towers next door, which is the former Hotel Gary. I almost wonder if this was where they bunkered while the Hotel was being renovated in the 70s.
