Grayslake Piggly Wiggly - Welcome sign

Pig has always been involved in the community, often-sponsoring and supporting countless local events; probably the main reason why most of Grayslake seems sad to see them go.

 

Ownership changed at least a couple of times since the store opened in the early 90s or so. It was briefly known as "Al & Bill's Piggly Wiggly" - dropping one of the names later-on - and in 2007 it was sold to the Karczewski family.
