Land Camera 3x AAA-battery conversion

Converting these Land Cameras to use readily-available AAA's instead of the expensive and rare 4.5v batteries is relatively idiot-proof if you have any sort of electronics experience. The holder is $2 at RadioShack and only the 2x2 holder meant for 4 cells will fit the compartment, so on one of the holders you must stretch the negative spring across to the positive wire to complete the circuit. From there it's just a matter of clearing-out excess plastic in the camera, and soldering the wires correctly (red-white; black-black), and your Land Camera is ready for another 50 years of shooting!

Shown is the Auto100 I sold to a friend in California; I did the same conversion on my 250.
