The 9th floor provides fantastic views of the heart of downtown Waukegan, and Lake Michigan.

 

In the distance is the former Waukegan Hotel, which was converted into apartments sometime in the last decade. I was told the same group behind that restoration was planning to do the Karcher next, and was possibly responsible for the clearing of the upper floors (and the environmentally-questionable debris pile in the lobby), but the project was axed.
