What a joke!!

Damage to the paint of my 2012 Charger after a third visit to Central Auto Body, this time at their Waukegan location. It looked fine the day I went to pick it up, but as a precaution I avoided washing, detailing, or doing anything to the paint that might possibly harm it. Sure enough, the first time it rained, their clusterfuck workmanship came out of hiding and now my car looks worse than ever! These swirls and scuffs are literally everywhere, even on the roofline over the driver door for some reason.

 

I must reiterate that this door should have never even been touched in the first place!

 

In fact, it is SO bad, that the new shop it goes to tomorrow is talking about re-spraying both rear quarter panels because they did a lousy job at masking, and there's overspray all over the place.

 

I am extremely thankful that my insurance guy at State Farm has been on my side this whole time. I'm not religious by any means, but I pray (or something) that this new shop can undo all this without further issue. They had some great cars at the Grayslake show in August, and they were just at SEMA this week, so I have a little more confidence in these guys.
