"Four hands were used Thursday to officially open Lakehurst, one of the nations largest enclosed mall regional shopping centers, near Waukegan. With hands on the lever (right) are James W. Kierman, project manager of the Lakehurst Development Co.; Miss Illinois, Anita Joyce Pankratz of Chicago; Miss America of 1970, Pamela Eldred of Birmingham, Mich., and Mayor Robert Sabonjian of Waukegan."
