Disaster Transport

Built in the mid-80s as Avalanche Run, this bobsled coaster was enclosed completely in 1990 and given a space theme. Unfortunately it has since suffered from decades of neglect, and today almost all of the theming that made it a hit in its opening year has either been turned off or removed entirely. Even the building is in such poor shape that whenever it rains the ride closes due to water leaking onto the track.

 

Now there are rumors of its removal after this season, which is a shame because the ride itself is still very much enjoyable; I thought even moreso than Space Mountain, which I'm sure Cedar Point was trying to emulate with this.
