Checker Marathon

Finally spotted one of these (somewhat) in the wild; parked at an auction place in Waukegan.

 

Produced until 1982, the Checker Motors Corporation that built them for Checker Taxi only recently shut down after becoming a parts supplier when the car was discontinued.

Done
