A Facebook page has recently sprung up, and it appears they're trying to start a non-profit organization to restore the Gary, IN Palace Theater; which has now been abandoned for 40 years. Some fantastic photos of the theater in its heyday have been showing up, revealing just how beautiful the place once-was.
Let's hope these efforts are legit and someone finally takes action; with the new mayor already attempting to demolish the Sheraton for free , it could be a bad omen for other historic derelicts in the city.
