Fiero stalking: Dixmoor, IL
11/26/11: Pulling out of Fat Ron's on Sibley to go to Dixie Square, I spotted a maroon notchback sitting at the light, about to turn north onto Dixie Highway. I decided to chase it for a pic, but lost it over the train tracks after only a couple of minutes (wasn't even close enough to see it turn).
As I'm about to turn around, however, I found this one sitting in what looks like a storage lot. I believe the sign said it was an 86 and they wanted $1,200. This was probably someone's project car, judging from the extended wing stands and side-scoops. The sail panels seemed to be aftermarket, too. Car has definitely been repainted as a result of the side-scoops, but looks like it was a rough job as it's peeling at the nose.
