ROCK 103.5 (WRCX-FM)
Launched 7/4/94 by Evergreen Media, the Rock was an active rock station in Chicago (at which time, rock stations seemed rather plentiful in these parts) that was known for introducing "Mancow's Morning Madhouse" to Chicago. Following a merger with Chancellor Media, Mancow left for WKQX (Q101) in 1998, and the station was killed shortly afterward-signing off on October 30 . The frequency is presently broadcasting pop crap under the KISS-FM brand.
