Barat College of the Sacred Heart

The Barat College in Lake Forest, IL has been locked up and partially-demolished since the middle of the previous decade.

 

Originally constructed in 1904, the campus was sold to DePaul University in 2001, who closed it just four years later. Unfortunately, the perimeter is crawling with bike cops and joggers, making exploration near-impossible.

Recently, what's left of the building was donated to Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart.
