Bare Bones

The 9th floor is one of many upper floors that were gutted in an earlier remodeling attempt. I'm told the same company that rehabbed the Waukegan Hotel down the street had the Karcher in mind next, but eventually bailed out for whatever reason. They left a hell of a mess downstairs (we'll get to that later).

 

Note the different-angled horizontal supports.
