Future
The need for a stable daily driver is becoming more and more real. So, once my current bills are paid in June, my plans are to save some money to store the Fiero, and do a down payment on a brand new car.
Unfortunately, with Pontiac gone my options dropped significantly... everything from GM, except the CTS Coupe, is a snoozefest... on top of Corvettes and Camaros being a dime a dozen these days. Dodge's new Charger is interesting however the name "Charger" will probably set off some red flags with the insurance agent, and it's out of my budget. Not interested in the import market, either.
Which brings us to this pic... I test drove this 2011 Ford Taurus Limited the other day and I am very pleased with it! It doesn't look boring; it handles and rides great; has some balls; is very spacious, and it has the two features I want: a moonroof and a place to connect my iPod/Walkman.
If I've done my math correctly I should be able to do this in mid to late-November... in time for winter. Hopefully it will be very similar to this one; black interior and exterior. Let's see...
