Presidential Booth
View from a once-concealed service corridor to the left of the stage, which hid the theatre's HVAC machinery. The decorative walls are long gone, providing an outstanding view of the seating area.
I had been wanting to get up here for almost a year, I actually climbed up and down twice so I could do a lens change. Once you climb two steel ladders about 60' up, you have about 10 feet of floor that quickly narrows down to about 3-4, from where this was shot... while dodging the rusted equipment, debris, and the occasional dead pigeon. One wrong move guarantees a plummet to your death.
If you're really ballsy, you can continue up to the roofline, but good luck getting to the third ladder about 4 feet to the left, which goes to the penthouse atop the stage.
Picture-wise, I really hate the lighting scenario in here; kind of wish the east side of the building would be boarded back up, or I may have to shoot this at dusk or dawn.
