Camera Carnage

My poor Big Swinger was killed in action yesterday... a measly 1.5-foot fall from a seat at MackyD's cracked it enough to let light in. The real damage was caused by the heavy-ass backpack it was in crushing it. The impact was so strong it broke the battery holder off!

 

I am not happy... not only did this thing take some damn-fine photographs, but it had sentimental value. In attempts to salvage it,I have taken the shutter/lens assembly, eye cup, and film cover off, in hopes of transferring them to another body.

 

On another note, the Reporter works fine.
