Yes I got another one, and got an awesome deal on it! Thank you, Craigslist!
According to the serial number, it was manufactured on February 24, 1978. It is in FAR better condition than the other one, which I've decided I am going to re-eBay as a parts/repair camera because it has so many problems.
The Alpha 1 differs slightly from the original model, most-notably because of an added tripod mounting hole, and mounting clips for a neck strap (which I have). It also has a few minor technical upgrades from the original model - such as the ability to fill-flash using a flashbar.
Aside from a few minor scratches in the leather, it's damn-near perfect! I've transferred the remaining 4 shots of PX-70 into this, so I'll probably film-test it tomorrow.
