Dixie Square JCPenney Temporary Sign Drawing

(Attached letter dated December 22, 1965)

RE: STORE #1881 - HARVEY, ILLINOIS

DIXIE SQUARE SHOPPING CENTER

Dear Mr. Steenwyk:

Enclosed herewith are two copies of our Standard Detail #67 which is a temporary sign indicating the coming opening of a J.C. Penney store. This detail was originally forwarded to you with our preliminary drawings and specifications. The sign size should be roughly 8' by 16' and the colors should be shown on the detail with the blue as shown on the enclosed color chart.

This sign is important since it gives us some advance publicity and makes the shopping public aware that a new J.C. Penney store will soon be open for business.

Will you please arrange for the erection of this sign at your earliest convenience and have it located in a position which would be mutually satisfactory to you, the Landlord, and the Penney Company.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Very truly yours,

C.F. Wichern
