Demolition in Dixie

This is the end of this set, but there's kind of a part two that isn't specifically of the mall. To set up for that set, the plywood wall in the foreground was toppled, which now provides an unobstructed view of the Penneys atrium from the mall's center court.

 

The lightstream shooting into B-11 is the result of the dust kicked up by knocking the wall down. I wanted to drag it out of the shot, but damn was it heavy!

 

I had previously stated this would be my last visit... since then I have acquired three new cameras; two of the same vintage as the mall, and my DSLR. I hate to pull a Brett Favre, but I've decided I've got too many new toys to ignore Dixie Square; so if it still stands, I will be back in the spring.
