The Collins-Karcher Hotel (1968)

This postcard has eluded me for about a decade, I only had a very low-res file until ebay finally came through the other day. It is the clearest view of Karcher's lobby that I've seen predating the 1984 fire, and would've been taken shortly after its renovation by the Collins family.

It was never mailed, however scrawlings on the back read:

"This is the main lobby where I live,

Jim"

 

"This is a fine old Hotel and very clean and reasonable."
