An unusual feature about Belvidere is the fact that it looks like an ordinary strip mall on the outside, but inside contains an actual mall with additional stores.

 

The huge BELVIDERE Discount Mall signage was added in the 90s remodeling and re-branding as a "discount mall". More on that later.
