Circuit City Gurnee Mills

Mall Entrance to Circuit City is packed at the Gurnee Mills mall on a Saturday afternoon. In the 90s it was a Computer City - I once-met local DJ Dick Biondi here when he was still at WJMK and my 7 year-old self actually got to announce a song on the radio.

 

Circuit City relocated here, from the shopping center with Target across the street, following the closure of the Computer City chain. They are now in liquidation.

 

UPDATE: A newly-constructed Macy's stands here, now.
