End of an era...
My "Ol' Reliable" NIKON CoolPix 7600 point and shoot camera was semi-retired on Christmas Day 2008. It will now be kept in the Fiero as a "just in case" camera.
Shot over 10,000 photos with it in a 2.5-year time span.
In-and-out of my pockets thousands of times (where most of the wear/tear came from)
Carried on hundreds of flat rides, POV'd a few of them at Great America
Visited 4 amusement parks
Went on about 40 roller coasters, filmed or taken pictures on about 15 of them.
Visited Great America well over 100 times
Visited two dead malls, Belvidere and Randhurst.
Needed a new lens once, a few weeks before the warranty expired.
