Lincoln Litter
Newborn kittens. Eight of them. Born within the week since the last visit, and buried under some store fixtures and cardboard (see previous flick).
All alive.
Momma cat came around shortly after finding them, but ran when she saw me and I never saw her, again.
With demolition crews literally at their door, sealing-off Carson's; and some advice from Nitram242 (who I happened to bump into), we ultimately pulled them out of there and left them in the care of the South Suburban Humane Society, a couple towns over. I asked about them on later visits, and was told they all survived and went to loving homes.
