General Cinema Lakehurst 12 stood in front of the Holiday Inn Express under construction in this photo. It was demolished in 2007, but this sign remains standing.
UPDATE MARCH 2009: The sign is still standing, but now is covered by a black tarp. I will be contacting Waukegan again regarding rescuing this sign. Also, the Holiday Inn Express is operating, but I don't get why they demolished GCL12 and didn't build on the actual site of the theatre.
