Amoco sign 4/2/08
According to the clerk inside the Food Shop, the reason this Amoco is still an Amoco is because the intersection was going to be widened and the station would've been demolished. The intersection widening never happened though, and BP has decided not to convert this station.
The clerk also says alot of people comment on the sign and that they don't want it taken down.
The station, called Jay's Amoco, is in Lake Villa, IL.
UPDATE: As of August 2008 it is a BP. :-(
