Logan Square 1974

Negative found in a dumpster; photo taken by my late-neighbor's son in Chicago, 1974. Would have to say around Memorial Day - there are other pics in this set from the city's Memorial Day parade on State Street.

 

Diversey and Kimball intersection; CTA bus riders waiting in front of Woolworth's - note the Jewel Food Store bags. Goldblatt's is in the background. Woolworth is still open as a Foot Locker (same company), and Goldblatt's is now a Gap Outlet.
