Merchant and Farmer's Bank Building
This 107-year old building was formerly located on the corner of Whitney and Center St. in Grayslake, Illinois. After being red-tagged for years, demolition began in January 2008 and the building was gone by May.

It will be replaced with retail and condominiums, the new building (named the Whitney Center) will resemble the original M&F Building.
EDIT: Scratch that last paragraph - the condos never happened when the housing bubble burst around the time it was demolished. This site is now home to a park.
