Nissin PF26

It's been a really good week for my Polaroid stuff; on top of Tuesday's pickup of 13 packs of 600 film, I found this nugget at the thrift store!

This is a Nissin PF26 - an electronic flash unit that substitutes the need for Magicubes on some of Kodak's Pocket-Instamatic 110 cameras, and more-importantly: Polaroid's Big Shot!

Any sort of electronic adapter or flash unit that works on the Big Shot is literally like striking gold! I'm not even kidding - I could hock this on eBay for an easy $100 or two - I saw a guy sell one (with the front label torn off so nobody could ID the unit, so he could control the market... scumbag) for $265 plus shipping from Europe! I paid $5 for this one - and it works great! Now that I don't need to hunt down and conserve Magicubes, I can go a little crazier with ideas for this camera
