'79 Cutlass Calais

I went through and cleaned all the dust out, polished the rust-covered brake booster with a wire brush on my Makita drill and went back over with a Mothers Powercone (best $25 spent this year), and cut old zipties/broken wire loom and replaced it with fresh ones. Fortunately there wasn't several decades of oily goop and crap I didn't have to clean, like I had on the trans case of my Fiero when I first got it. The wire loom works wonders - no more loose wires dangling around.

This one's owned by a friend from the cruise nights - it spent a night here so I could detail the engine bay for a national show out east. It's a really big, beautiful car - probably one of the most luxurious of the era that I've been able to (briefly) tinker with.
