Coppersmith Barbet - Megalaima haemacephala

Back from an epic month in the wonderful Myanmar.

 

This common yet charismatic barbet was found in Yango's People's Park, a lovely open space to the north of downtown. This park provided some nice birds including Black Baza, Grey-backed Shrike and Asian Coel.
